Dear Neighbours and Visitors,
We moved to the South Shore from Ontario in 2016. Hayley has worked at Fancy Pants ever since. It's given her a place to call home for our now family of four. Hayley brought many years of hustle and bustle Toronto restaurant experience, while Neil brought business ownership, carpentry and maintenance skills in his toolkit. Together, we make this dream work.
Now, years later, as a family-run business with two kids at the heart of everything we do, we continue to build this space with intention, care, and a deep connection to the people around us.
We’ve been the owners of Fancy Pants Cafe since 2020. To us, that means showing up fully—for our customers, our staff, and the incredible local vendors who help bring our vision to life. Every ingredient, every product, and every decision is rooted in supporting local and creating something meaningful together. We genuinely love what we do. From crafting thoughtful, healthy food to dialing in the perfect cup of coffee, we’re driven by curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
We are honoured to have this opportunity to continue on in the fanciness of Fancy Pants, where we pledge to continue supporting local farmers and entrepreneurs, alongside and with our extended family and community here on the South Shore.
